Action Base 1 is a plastic injection moulding kit that requires very little work to assemble. No gluing or painting required! The octagonal base and the square part that can be connected to each of its sides feature cool mechanical details and panel lines, as well as a total of 10 holes for placing the support bar for the main stand to adjust the height of the main stand. The support bar has an ingenious locking mechanism that allows it to be extended and retracted and is strong enough to hold the centre stand in place. The main stand itself can also be extended upwards to raise your kit to a much higher position.
The kit comes with three different sizes (8mm, 9mm and 11mm) of U-shaped brackets, peg brackets and bolt-on brackets (two bolts and a nut are included) to secure the main stand in the crotch of the kit. If you use the U-shaped or screw-on brackets, you should apply double-sided adhesive tape (small amount included) between the kit step and the brackets to hold it in place. A name plate is included which can be attached to one of the holes in the base. (It is noted on the packaging that there may be cases where a kit does not fit).
